Kenya Projects
IDP Pipeline Education Project
After the December 2007 elections in Kenya, political violence ravished the
country leaving many homeless and jobless. Many internally displaced persons (IDP)
camps were formed to protect those targeted for violence. Please sponsor a child
or make a donation to help us build a school at IDP Pipeline.

Shelter Children’s Rehabilitation Center
Your donations are needed now more than ever. As the youth at Shelter grow and
leave the children’s home, the staff at Shelter hopes that through their proposed
re-integration program they are able to maintain their role as a supportive,
accessible family beyond the confines of the orphanage walls – and that Shelter’s
youth can know that they are not to be abandoned again.

A Helper's Hope
In July of 2009 A Helper's Hope, with the assistance of our partners Peruvian
Hearts and GVN Foundation, will lead a group of adults with different skills and
backgrounds to volunteer in a children's home in Anta, a suburb of Cusco in Peru.
We are raising funds to help meet the needs of the children, as well as
collecting donated supplies.

Nalusse Primary School Lunch Program
The Nalusse Primary School Lunch Program has been put together by several past GVN teachers at Nalusse. The goal of the program is to be able to provide a quality lunch for the all-day students of the Nalusse Primary School, some of whom do not eat a full meal over the course of a day. This will enable the children to have more energy to stay focused on classwork and achieve higher levels of learning.

Vietnam Baby Orphanage Donation
The children desperately need vaccinations to protect them, these are extremely expensive and even the most basic medical treatment such as that for heat boils is considerably beyond the funds available to the orphanage.
