Funds Distribution

At The GVN Foundation we believe in the idea of 'local solutions to local problems' and we therefore work with local community organizations in each country we support. The graph below summarizes the grants we provided to our partners in Africa, Asia, South America and Europe between 2005 and 2008:

GVN Foundation assists partners by providing grants for running costs, education, healthcare and construction. We have also provided emergency relief grants to Kenya (following post-election violence), Peru (following the 2007 earthquake), Vietnam (following typhoons and flooding), and Romania (following an emergency appeal from our partner). The graph below summarizes the types of grants that have been given to each country between 2005 and 2008:

100% of your donation towards a project in the following ways goes directly to the project in question:

• General Children's Fund Donations
• International Fundraiser Donations
• Emergency Relief Donations
• Sponsorship Donations

All other forms of donating will be subject to a 25% administration fee due to administration costs involved in generating the program.

Please note your donation will go into a "general projects fund" to be used to assist our partner. In all instances we strive to send funds to the stated program above but in the event of a greater need or change in program needs GVNF will determine the destination of funds. Grants and "special contract" administration rates will be negotiated on a case by case basis.
